About

I started messing around with photography when I was 12, going on to equip my own darkroom and eventually taking on that unmistakleable smell of developer and fixing solution, which alas is missing from many of my efforts today.
I ended up running the school camera club, (Maidstone Grammar School for any 'Old Maidstonians' out there.), and was the photographic editor of the school magazine. From there I went on to manage a photographic shop, combining it with wedding photography at the weekends!
Like the 'smell', that camera shop has long since gone but my passion for photography remains. I resisted the 'lure' of digital for some time but I eventually parted company with my faithful Canon 35mm equipment in order to make the change.
The pictures that you will see here are mainly from my recent travels and commissions, although there are a few 'film' shots. These will increase in number as I progressively scan my back-catalogue of negatives which number in the thousands!
