Glass Witch Jewellery

The Glass Witch Jewellery Company was set up by my wife a few years ago and proved to be moderately successful. She enjoys experimenting with different techniques and processes and is currently taking a step back to concentrate on new projects.
Anyone who has previously purchased items from her or who has questions about stock or commissions, please direct those queries to myself using the 'contact' page.
In the meantime here is a potted history of The Glass Witch:
'I was interested in arts and crafts from an early age and was always creating something or other, be it clay figures or necklaces and bracelets made from buttons from the family 'button bag'.
I went on to study floristry and developed my love of colours and their arrangement, together with my inbuilt love of all things shiny!
For several years I helped run a gift shop on the Barbican in Plymouth, which sold everything from clothing and jewellery to joss sticks.
Deciding to start creating my own jewellery I subsequently attended art-classes covering a variety of mediums including wire-work, silver-clay and glasswork. It was the glass that caught my attention and I became particularly fascinated by dichroic glass, with its unique qualities and patterns.
Wanting to develop my skills, I attended a dichroic glass jewellery making course and haven't looked back since. I started modestly, designing and producing pieces for friends and family, (unless they were really nice, and then they were mine!), then began attending craft fairs, with significant success.
I enjoy exploring new mediums and techniques and am looking forward to some exciting new avenues in the future.
I would like to thank you to all of my previous customers for their business and want to end by saying 'Watch this space, I shall return!'
Regards,
Judith
